Fancy Hats and Afternoon Tea at Windsor Arms Hotel
The Windsor Arms Hotel is pleased to partner with Look Good Feel Better for our Give Back Program to support women with cancer
The Windsor Arms Hotel is not only famous for its exceptional service and luxury; it’s also famous for its Afternoon Tea, which takes place in our luxurious Tea Rooms. Our guests can choose from a great selection of teas and they are also provided with an array of tea treats including scones, sandwiches, and petit fours.
We have partnered with the Look Good Feel Better program; a charity that offers free hands-on cosmetic and hair alternatives workshop for women with cancer in a caring and supportive environment. Our guests now have the opportunity to support the meaningful work of Look Good Feel Better by giving back in one simple way: wear a fancy hat for afternoon tea.
The Windsor Arms Hotel has always offered fancy hats and we’re especially pleased to announce that beginning August our guests will be encouraged to wear a fancy hat during our Afternoon Tea for a $5 donation with all proceeds benefiting Look Good Feel Better. Our guests are happy to know that beyond enjoying tea and scrumptious treats, by participating in our Fancy Hats for High Tea initiative they are also helping to support women at one of the most challenging times of their lives.
“As we celebrate Look Good Feel Better’s 20th Anniversary year, we’re very excited about the awareness raising, friend raising and fundraising that The Windsor Arms Hotel and its Fancy Hats and Afternoon Tea will offer our program to benefit women with cancer,” says Sherry Abbott, cancer survivor and Executive Director of the Canadian Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association Foundation, home of Look Good Feel Better and Facing Cancer Together.
We invite the donation of fancy hats to benefit our charitable partner and help women with cancer. This can be done by directing hats to the Windsor Arms Hotel to the attention of Christine Korda, our Director of Communications & Special Events.

About Look Good Feel Better
Launched in 1992 as a program of the Canadian Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association Foundation, Look Good Feel Better is Canada’s only cancer charity dedicated to empowering women to manage the effects that cancer and its treatment can have on their appearance. At the heart of the program is the free, two-hour hands-on workshop that comes complete with a complimentary cosmetic and personal care kit. At the workshop women with cancer learn simple cosmetic techniques, nail and skin care tips, hair alternatives and cosmetic hygiene, to help them look a little more like themselves again. Beyond beauty, it’s the support from other women, the sharing of empowering information, support of compassionate volunteers and laughter that helps workshop participants gain confidence, lift spirits and take control.
